MediBIC’s mission
is to bring about the concept of “Personalized Medicine”
to reality in Japan. We are building towards accomplishing
this mission through development of key technologies in
strategic partnerships with academic labs and leading
international biotech companies focusing on different
aspects of Pharmacogenomics (PGx).
PGx related technologies are in the
early stages of development and fastly changing. The early
nature of some of these technologies require vast investment
of resources to increase robustness. MediBIC believes
that the best way to approach the emerging needs of PGx
is to develop multiple integrated approaches to solving
the problems. This will enable us to choose the best solution
for any project rather than be limited to fitting only
one solution to all problems.
We have established partnerships in
key areas of PGx, metabolomics and proteomics with international
companies. Our approach is collaborative in nature, bringing
together the best technologies from different organizations
under the same umbrella, regardless of their geographic
locations.
