Christopher Adam, Ph.D.
Advisor, MediBIC Group In 2003, Mr. Adam accepted
his position as the advisor of MediBIC for global business
development strategy. In 1994, Mr. Adam became Director,
Commercial Strategy Glaxo plc, following his career as President
of the French organization of Glaxo. In 1997, he accepted
a position as Regional Director Japan and was also a global
board member of GlaxoWellcome. |

Toru Horie, Ph.D.
Scientific Advisor, MediBIC Group
Dr. Horie accepted his position as Scientific Advisor
of MediBIC in August, 2002. He first joined Eisai Co., Ltd.
and gained experience as a researcher in the Pharmacology
and Drug Metabolism Laboratory and Pharmacokinetics Laboratory.
He was then promoted to Head of Drug Discovery Metabolism
Research Institute, Drug Discovery Division.
After leaving Eisai, he established D-Three Institute,
providing education and training opportunities to pharmaceutical
researchers, as well as consultation in the field of drug
discovery and pharmacokinetics studies.

Hajime Yoshida, Ph.D.
Advisor, MediBIC Group
Mr.Yoshida first joined MediBIC as a statutory auditor
from January 2002 to March 2005. He then became an advisor
of MediBIC in April 2005 and from 2006, he became one of
the advisory board members. His previous experiences are
Chief Researcher, Tokyo Research Laboratories, Managing
Officer of R&D Head Office, and Corporate Research Strategy
Offcer, KYOWA HAKKO KOGYO CO., LTD., Director, Kyowa Medex
Co., Ltd.

Yoshitada Notsu, Ph.D.
Scientific Advisor, MediBIC Group
Dr.Notsu joined MediBIC Group in February 2005.
Following his position as Managing Director, R&D Strategic
Planning, he accepted his current position as Scientific
Advisor of MediBIC Group from July 2007.
In the past, Dr. Yoshitada Notsu was assigned to
the Research and Development Department of Fujisawa Pharmaceutical
Co., Ltd. (currently Astellas Pharma Inc ) . At the Dr.
J. Axelrod laboratory of NIH (USA), he was involved with
research on biochemical/ pharmacological studies of the
protein factor. He was also a chief scientist of the R&D
Department where he engaged in researching various disorders
and was resposible for project management as a vice-director
of Exploratory Research Laboratories in Tsukuba. Afterwards,
he moved to Director of Molecular Biology Division of Fujisawa
Exploratory Research Laboratories.
At the Fujisawa US subsidiary, he engaged in the
investment operation towards venture companies, and assessed
more than 100 companies as a scientific reviewer. He was
also in charge of licensing at the Management Strategic
Division of Fujisawa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd followed by
a position as Board Member and Director of Research Laboratories
at a middle-sized pharmaceutical company.

Akitoshi Yamazaki, M.B.A.
Advisor, MediBIC Group
Mr. Yamazaki became an advisor of MediBIC in
May 2005.He is a graduate of Keio University, and has an
MBA degree from Columbia University.
His previous experiences are Sumitomo Corporation,
McKinsey & Company, Inc., Disney Store Japan, Inc.,
Managing Director, The Goodwill Group, Inc., Executive Director,
COMSN, Inc.
